The Electronic Entertainment Expo is just around the corner. The annual video game industry trade show and promotional conference in LA runs from June 12-14 and we’re looking forward to hearing the latest announcements, news and press conferences.

Many of the big press events are actually held before the show floor opens. Many of them are live-streamed online so you won’t miss any big announcements. Here is the schedule if you want to tune in:

Saturday, June 9

  • Electronic Arts – 2pm EST

Sunday, June 10

  • Microsoft – 4pm EST
  • Bethesda – 9:30pm EST

Monday, June 11

  • Square Enix – 1pm EST
  • Ubisoft – 4pm EST
  • PC Gaming Show – 6pm EST
  • Sony – 9pm EST

Tuesday, June 12

  • Nintendo – 12pm EST

Some of the new games we’re expecting to see at E3 include Rage 2, Just Cause 4, Borderlands 3 and Gears of War 5 amoung others. What about VR? Microsoft loves its dramatic hardware releases (like it’s Xbox One X) and we would love to see a VR device come from the company. We’re also looking forward to any updates on the ID@Xbox program from Microsoft, a program that has already been highly successful since it’s launch.

Sony recently revealed that it’ll have four major games to show at E3: Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man, and The Last of Us: Part II. It’ll also highlight several third-party games coming to the platform, but no new hardware will be shown.

When it comes to Nintendo, they’re still riding high after their 2018 Switch console release, so we’re looking forward to seeing what Nintendo is bringing to the table. They have been quiet about their E3 lineup so far but we’re hoping to hear about a purported new Star Fox game, a possible Fortnite port, Persona 5 coming to Switch and more details on the next version of Super Smash Bros.
